Our Scene N’ Nerd crew returns to Mr Robot_2.0 with two controversial episodes and discussions.  First, Matt Salazar (@ImSalzy), Kerri Gillete (@KerBearkru) and Sarah Belmont (@sjbelmont) talk “handshake.sme” (2×07).  Spoiler alert a perdiction comes true; Elliot (Rami Malek) is the ultimate narrator; Phillip Price (Michael Cristofer) really likes Angela (Portia Doubleday); and Leon (Joey Bada$$) is the best friend ever.  Will even Elliot’s imaginary friends (the viewers) make out alive this season?  Stay tuned…

Then Matt Salazar (@ImSalzy) and Sarah Belmont (@sjbelmont) have some cookies while talking “succ3ss0r.p12” (2×8).  Warning this episode does not feature Elliot Alderson, or Mr. Robot; and it remains to be a refreshing chapter in the saga.  Spoiler alert both Darlene and Angela want to rule the world; Dom (Grace Gummer) closes in on society; and Mobley (Azhar Khan) convinces Trenton (Sunita Mani) to finally leave town.  Still no information about Tyrell Wellick’s whereabouts; we still don’t know what happened during those three days; who knocked on the door; or if Tyrell is even alive…do we even know anything about this show?

First and foremost I am a TV/Film nerd. Secondly, I am a SceneNNerd writer/blogger/podcaster. At the end of the day, I am a small town Alaskan girl. In 2012 I graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. I have aspired to be a writer ever since I became the editor of my high school yearbook. I fell in love with film as a child. My family would always rent movies on the weekend and afterwards breakdown the plot. I have been an avid reader ever since my Harry Potter obsession in elementary school. In college I took a film noir class that changed my perspective on the film/TV medium. I discovered that I could break down a single shot on the screen, just like how I would approach breaking down a sentence in a book. I have been hooked ever since. A good TV show, or film tells a great story. A great TV show, or film includes nuances and subtext that can be explored by nerds like me.
