We’ve been informed that Marvel had been extremely pleased with the contributions from writer-directors, such as James Gun and others. And, they would be looking for the next wave of directors to contribute to screenplays, we’d assume with Scott Derrickson’s background as writer he’d be apart of Doctor Strange rewrites, but there’s been confirmation of even more to that.
So yeah. It’s finally out in the wild. I’ve been working on this for the better part of the last year. pic.twitter.com/BTZDaItsbt

Scott’s writing partner C. Robert Cargill (Deus Ex, Sinister 1-2) has confirmed via Twitter that he was indeed secretly writing on Doctor Strange for over a year. The confirmation comes after a presentation BNAT15, where Marvel revealed the news in a promo video for the film.
You might remember that Scott and C. Robert were putting together a live-action adaptation of the video series Deus Ex, before Scott took on Strange. It’s expected that will be next unless Marvel wants to fast-track a sequel like they did with Ant-Man.
