Just Jared has posted the first look at Scott Eastwood while on the set of Suicide Squad, looking like a U.S. military figure in the film suggesting that he might indeed be playing Steve Trevor after all. While we mostly got characters confirmed yesterday via a team shot posted by David Ayer, there are like five or six roles in the film not officially announced, one of them being Eastwood’s character.
Scott is a rising star currently so having him throw away superhero roles, with a small bit role in Suicide Squad didn’t make too much sense. However, playing Trevor would allow crossovers into films like Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and even Justice League. Latino Review was the first to link Eastwood for the role of Trevor, I’m sure there will be confirmation this summer at Comic-Con.
Suicide Squad comes out next August.
