Apparently life is very different in this newest iteration of the classic Disney series Ducktales. Scrooge McDuck has hung up his adventure spats and settled into a life of quiet retirement with his insane amount of wealth. As his nephew Donald Duck has taken up the mantle of the family adventurer, Scrooge has been tasked with watching Donald’s nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. When the urge to go back hits Scrooge, he decides to take the boys and his pilot Launchpad McQuack on more adventures around the world.
Ducktales features the voice talents of David Tennant (Jessica Jones/ Doctor Who) taking over for the late Alan Young as the voice of Scrooge McDuck. Tony Anselmo, who has been voicing Donald Duck for almost twenty years, returns to play Donald again. Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live) will voice Launchpad McQuack. Danny Pudi (Powerless), Ben Schwartz (House of Lies) and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) will voice Huey, Dewey and Louie.
Ducktales is set to debut this summer 2017 on Disney XD.
