CBS is taking another stab at the superhero world.
The network has put a pilot order on an adaptation of the popular DC Comics series Secret Six, Variety is reporting. You can read the official description below.
The project follows six morally ambiguous strangers, each with their own unique specialties and secret pasts. They are brought together by an enigmatic figure who blackmails them into working as a team to expose the corruption of the corporate and political elite.
Rick Muirragui (‘Suits’) is writing and executive producing alongside Bill Lawerence (‘Scrubs’) and Jeff Ingold (‘Rush Hour’). ‘It is unknown which characters will be featured in the show, but the comics focused on Bane, Deadshot, Rag Doll, and others.
