June’s Lootaku has arrived and this month’s theme is dedicated to Game of Thrones!
Lootaku is a premium monthly subscription box all the way from Hong Kong. Each box features geek collectibles every month and includes 4 to 6 epic items ranging from Figures, Comics, T-Shirts, Mugs, Plushies and more. The name Lootaku originates from the words “Loot” and Otaku”, Otaku meaning a person who is obsessed to things like video games, anime, manga, etc…

This is probably the largest POP! I own now but the Funko Pop! Rides Daenerys & Drogon is probably one of the coolest pops I have seen.
“HOLD THE DOOR… HOLD THE DOOR.. HOLD THE DOOR… HOLD THE DOOR… HOLDTHEDOOR…. HODOR… HODOR…” Yep, they went there. There is an actual door Hodor door stopper. This is kinda sad, but also kinda funny that they managed to turned something like this into a door wedge. How fitting.
The GoT Type 1 Coin is nicely detailed and made from brass. The coin features the head of Daenerys with her three dragons engraved on one side, and on the reverse side is a pyramid with a broken chain and features the words “Breaker of Chains – One Mark”.
The GoT pin features The Hand of the King (or King’s Hand). It is one of the most powerful appointed position in the Seven Kingdoms.
This month’s box also came with a Mystery Mini. You could have receied a Mystery Mini from either series 1, 2 or 3. The one I received is of Lord Varys. 5 lucky subscribers out there would have instead received a limited edition GoT “In Memorium” mystery mini that was exclusive from 2014 SDCC.
The GoT map that was included features all of Essos in its massive glory. I may have to frame this.
Finally, my favorite item is an unusual one. I say that because it is not something I have received before in a subscription box but that’s another reason why Lootaku is one of my favorites. This item comes in shape of a cushion cover, with the Targaryen emblem printed on one side of it. Great for any guest, movie, game room.
