‘Solo’ Screenwriter Jonathan Kasdan Reportedly Joins ‘Indiana Jones 5’

Jun 28, 2018

A new report from Collider suggests that there could be a shakeup on the screenwriting front on Indiana Jones 5, as they write Jonathan Kasdan will do a certain amount of work on the script, which director Steven Spielberg confirmed would begin filming next April in the UK.

However, they admittedly don’t know the size of his role on the film and if he’s rewriting entirely or doing a simple polish on the previous draft written by David Koepp.

Jonathan’s father Larry Kasdan wrote Raiders of The Lost Ark and the two of them co-wrote Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Nothing is known about the film outside of the return of Harrison Ford and composer John Williams.

Disney has set the untitled film for July 10th, 2020.
