Sonic The Hedgehog is finally coming together with director Jeff Fowler at the helm. We previously reported that filming on Sonic is set to begin on July 30th in Vancouver.
Omega Underground has learned that Star Trek Beyond and Fate of The Furious cinematographer Stephen Windon has jumped aboard the film before returning to make Fast and The Furious 9 (filming next year).
Also, our friends over at ThatHashtagShow have revealed that Paramount is eyeing Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd to play the human cop who will team up with Sonic in the film.
You might remember that Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds is voicing Pikachu in the Detective Pikachu movie. Having some superhero star power seems to be a new trend for these new hybrid video game films.
Paramount has set the release date for November 15th, 2019.
