It’ been a while since we’ve heard an update on Sony’s Uncharted movie since Tom Holland signed on to star and Shawn Levy to direct.
Now, we have word from ThatHashtagShow that the studio is apparently “interested” in Bryan Cranston for an undisclosed role. We’ve been shown the evidence they have and it’s indeed a legitimate source (as with their other reports).
Eyeing or wanting an actor for a role doesn’t mean an offer has gone out but Cranston isn’t usually the type of actor that turns down large roles. We feel that this most likely will come together if Levy and Sony see eye-to-eye on the casting.
Production is expected to begin mid-Spring.
