It looks like Venom is still making big bucks for Sony Pictures as the latest estimated global total for the film is $462 million.
Meaning, the Spider-Man spin-off has a really good shot at crossing $600-700 million, as it still has to release in China and other foreign markets. Domestic audiences are also still giving it healthy repeat business despite the overcrowded fall lineup this year.
A sequel is all but assured at this point as the film will earn a hefty profit when Venom ends its box office run.
