‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Casts Another Youngster In Michael Barbieri

Jun 7, 2016

Spider-Man: Homecoming has added another young up-and-comer to its cast in Michael Barbieri. A name that won’t be familiar to anyone at the moment, but expect big things from this kid over the next couple of years.

Barbieri was recently cast as Timmy in The Dark Tower movie, based on Stephen King’s best-selling series. And was in the running to play Spider-Man last year before losing out on the role to Tom Holland.

According to¬†Heroic Hollywood¬†Barbieri will report to set this month and will play one of Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) friends, ComicBook.com had more to add-on his role. They say Barbieri’s character will be based off Ganke from the Ultimate Spider-Man, who is more commonly associated with Miles Morales.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits screens July 7, 2017.
