Whether you like director Michael Bay’s Transformers films or not, production on the franchises fifth film is currently underway. The sequel to 2014’s Age of Extinction see’s Mark Whalberg reprise his not so believable role as inventor Cade Yager.
Also joining Whalberg from the previous film is Stanley Tucci. No details on how big his role in the film were revealed, but the actor confirmed his return to the world of Autobots and Decepticons whilst accepting a career tribute in Deauville, France. Tucci played the more believable looking inventor called Joshua Joyce, who was one of the more enjoyable characters in the last Transformers movie.
This scene with Tucci and actress Li Binging is one of my favorites from Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Another actor who recently joined the cast is Liam Garrigan, per Mashable Garrigan he will play King Arthur (a role he already played in ABC’s Once Upon A Time — it’s not connected with the upcoming Transformers film).
JoBlo ran some rumours on how King Arthur and other characters would fit into the storyline a while back check out the video below if you don’t care about spoilers:
