J. J. Abrams’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens has grossed $1.8 billion globally. Already bringing in $851 million in the U.S., $168.6 million in the U.K., $100.1 million in Germany, $95.2 million in China, and $73.5 million in Japan.
It’s the fifth film ever to make $1 billion at the international box office, surpassing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Jurassic World over the weekend. However, it’s not the highest-grossing film of all time, yet. The Force Awakens is $317 million behind James Cameron’s Avatar and Titanic. But there’s definitely still time.
Do you think Star Wars: The Force Awakens will become the highest-grossing movie of all time?
