‘Stella’ Actor Julian Lewis Jones Join The Cast Of The ‘Justice League’

Jul 5, 2016

Welsh actor Julian Lewis Jones probably best known to UK audiences as Karl Morris from Sky 1 comedy series Stella has joined the cast of Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie.

The actor confirmed his involvement in the Justice League film whilst speaking with Wales Online:

I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made. It was filmed at Warner Brother’s studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the UK and Iceland. Directed by Zack Snyder it stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and host of A-list actors. I’m just happy to have been involved and I’m looking forward to the movie’s release which will be next year.

I wouldn’t expect Jones to voice the Justice League villain Steppenwolf, if I was to guess he’ll probably end up playing an Atlantian or one of the missing scientists from the film. Of course this is just speculation on my part, but it’s more than likely the studio will look to a A-list star to bring the baddie to life.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will hit screens November 17, 2017.
