Variety reported earlier today that Arrow star Stephen Amell is set to play iconic Ninja Turtles pal Casey Jones in the upcoming sequel titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. The actor took to Twitter to confirm the report and has given us finally a reason to be interested in the next installment.
I can’t say this is terrible casting when it comes to Casey it’s all about the one-liners, so let’s see if their screenwriters are up to the task.

Here’s hoping Paramount goes even further quality-wise and hires Rza and the Wu-Tang Clan to score the film.
