As more and more things are being rebooted for both the big and small screen, one can find himself a little leery of hearing about a reboot of something that was beloved in its time. This, however, is a reboot that I am looking forward to.
According to CNET and The Huffington Post, Steven Spielberg, Amblin Entertainment and Warner Brothers are set to let the Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister) out of the water tower again by developing a new Animaniacs series. The series, which ran from 1993 to 1998, featured the zany (to the max) adventures of the animated Warner Brothers and their sister Dot as they brought their unique and wacky humor to everyone they met. The series also included segments with other original characters. This means we might also get to see the return of Pinky and the Brain, Goodfeathers and Slappy Squirrel.

While there is no network attached yet, Warner Brothers does have several streams with which they could showcase the series including their streaming service and through Netflix, which is currently airing the original series.
