‘Straight Outta Compton’s O’Shea Jackson Jr. Might Join ‘Godzilla: King of The Monsters’

Variety is reporting that yet another cast member of Straight Outta Compton is looking to join Legendary’s Kaiju Cinematic Universe. As O’Shea Jackson Jr. is in negotiations with the studio for a role in Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of The Monsters.

If the actor joins the sequel he’ll co-star alongside Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, and Vera Farmiga.

O’Shea’s Compton co-stars Jason Mitchell and Corey Hawkins had supporting roles in Kong: Skull Island.

Godzilla: King of The Monsters will shoot this summer in Atlanta and then eventually move production to a studio facility in the port city of Qingdao, China. Its release date has been set for March 22nd, 2019.
