‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Offered the Lead in ‘Narnia: The Silver Chair’

Nov 9, 2017

Today, That Hashtag Show is reporting that casting has begun on the upcoming (semi-reboot?) The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair. Currently, the studio is casting for the role of the lead male Eustace and The Evil Queen. The report indicates that Stranger Things and Godzilla 2 star Millie Bobby Brown has been offered the lead role of Jill. It’s unknown at this time if the young actress has passed on the gig:

Eustace and Jill are called back to Narnia by Aslan for a task. King Caspian is old and his only son Prince Rillian has been taken, hostage. Teaming up with the marsh-wiggle Puddlegum, they journey North from Narnia. But with winter fast approaching, their journey isn’t easy. Not to mention the danger they face from giants and a stranger they meet.

Eustace and King Caspian was originally played by Will Poulter and Ben Barnes respectively but will be recast for this upcoming film. It’s still unknown how much of a reboot this film will be given it’s been seven years since the last installment. So no one knows if Liam Neeson will be asked to return to voice Aslan. Joe Johnston (Captain America: The First Avenger) will be directing. Johnston recently stated he is acutally retiring from directing after this next Narnia installment.

The Silver Chair has no set release date
