Streets of Rage 4 has just been announced today! The side-scrolling beat ‘em up series is back with a new game for the first time since 1994! The game will be made with a few different companies coming together with Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games, and Dotemu in association with SEGA. Lizardcube and Dotemu are known for the Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake that came out last year. Guard Crush Games are known for the Streets of Fury & Streets of Fury EX games. The teaser gives us an animated trailer peppered with what appears to be a bit of gameplay footage. There’s not much to go off of here but it is indeed exciting to see an old franchise come back. No platform or release window has been announced yet.
