With less than a month until cameras start rolling, Henderson Wade has joined the cast of ‘Swamp Thing’ as Matt Cable.
Wade previously played a cop in ‘Riverdale,’ and also appeared in ‘American Horror Story’ and ‘NCIS.’
Matt Cable has had a lot of problems during his time in the DC Universe, from being a federal agent at odds with a giant swamp monster to a talking crow. In ‘Swamp Thing,’ Cable will be a police officer “in dire straits when supernatural evil threatens the town he’s sworn to protect,” per Deadline.
‘Swamp Thing’ hails from James Wan, Gary Dauberman, Mark Verheiden, Michael Clear, and Len Weisman. Weisman is directing the pilot with a script from Dauberman and Verheiden.
The show stars Crystal Reed, Andy Bean, Derek Mears, Will Patton, Jeryl Prescott, Jennifer Beals, and Virginia Madsen. It will premiere exclusively on DC Universe sometime in 2019.
