Tacoma has been pushed from mid-2016 to 2017. Full Bright, developers of Tacoma, as well as, critically well received Gone Home, state the delay has been due to going back and revamping core mechanics after player feedback. According to Full bright, the changes made have been positive according to most recent feedback. They continue stating the team just needs more time to finish the game which has slipped behind schedule due to the revamp.
I personally really enjoyed Gone Home. Despite people debating whether it’s a game or not, it was undeniable that it a unique and touching experience. I’m excited to see what’s next from Full Bright and can’t wait to see what the team has in store for us in 2017.
