‘The Crow Reborn’ Shooting In Budapest – Major Crew Hires Revealed

Dec 12, 2017

Looks like it’s full-steam-ahead on Jason Momoa‘s Crow reboot directed by Corin Hardy.

The Crow Reborn has had more than a few hiccups during its development and pre-production, but we’ve learned that things are ramping up for its shoot next year.

Aspiring rock musician Eric Draven comes back from the dead to avenge his and his fiancee’s brutal deaths at the hands of a criminal syndicate.

Production is expected to take place in Budapest, Hungary the recent filming location of films like Atomic Blonde, The Martian, Blade Runner 2049, and Tim Miller’s new Terminator film.

Adding to the talk of filming happening very soon, Hardy has assembled most of his crew which gives us the strong impression things are getting very serious this time.

A production source has revealed to us major crew hires on Crow Reborn that include cinematographer Martijn van Broekhuizen (The Hallow), production designer Alex Cameron (The Hallow), and VFX supervisor Raymond Gieringer (Drag Me To Hell, Immortals).

Last we heard it was eyeing a start sometime in February, but we can’t confirm a start date as of yet.

Sony, who recently picked-up the film has yet to give the comic book film a release date.
