‘The Flash Movie’ Finds A ‘Dope’ Iris West In Kiersey Clemons

Jul 25, 2016

Over the weekend fans finally got to see what Ezra Miller looked like in action as the big screen version of The Flash, as director Zack Snyder dropped the first trailer for the Justice League movie during San Diego Comic-Con.

With all the excitement currently surrounding the speedster, it has been revealed that Dope actress Kiersey Clemons has signed on to play Barry Allen’s (Ezra Miller) best friend and no-nonsense journalist Iris West in The Flash standalone movie.

Clemons was named as front-runner for the role earlier this month. With her now confirmed to co-star in The Flash film, it see’s Clemons team up with director Rick Famuyiwa once again, who she worked with on Dope.

After seeing her in Dope and this years Neighbours 2 I’m excited to see what Clemons can bring to the role, she has style and a bit of attitude all the right attributes to make a fantastic Iris West.

The Flash movie hits screens some time in 2018, date has yet to be confirmed.
