‘The Flash Movie’ Ray Fisher Confirmed To Appear As Cyborg

Aug 16, 2016

Back in April this year, Batman V Superman producer Deborah Snyder hinted in an interview with Forbes that Ray Fisher’s Cyborg would be seen in The Flash Movie alongside Ezra Miller’s speedster.

When discussing the approach Warner Bros were taking with their DC Extended Universe she said:

“As you can imagine, when we get to the Flash movie, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher — who plays Cyborg — are kind of our youngest characters, and they have a really nice comradery with each other. Ezra is super funny, so the tone of that film will be very different than the rest of them.”

Since then, The Flash Movie lost its original director in Seth Grahame-Smith and brought on-board Dope filmmaker Rick Famuyiwa. And with a new director things change, so in a period of flux it was uncertain if Cyborg be part of the film.

Now Variety has confirmed Ray Fisher’s involvement in The Flash Movie as Victor Stone aka Cyborg. They note that they don’t know how substantial a role he’ll have. Just that he will appear.

We should have known he was going to show up when director Rick Famuyiwa tweeted this image of Ezra, Ray and him together a few weeks after he was announced as the director.
