The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is currently touring the U.S. and Cananda

Jan 22, 2016

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is back for the 2015-2016 season and is currently touring the United States and Canada. This time around the tour has been subtitled “Master Quest” and will also include music from the all new “Tri Force Heroes”. During the tour, the orchestra will also feature never before performed scores which will also include by some new gameplay imagery. The concert series is produced by Jason Michael Paul Productions and Nintendo. Amy Andersson has joined as the symphony’s music director and conductor for the new season.

Here’s what the production team behind Symphony of the Goddesses had to say about their new concert series,

Those new to Symphony of the Goddesses will also have the opportunity to experience the beautifully orchestrated four-movement symphonic work from last season, which chronicles fan-favorite moments from the franchise’s rich and storied history, carefully and expertly timed with a gorgeous, larger than life video presentation.

Journey back to the land of Hyrule with Master Quest, the next chapter in the acclaimed world tour, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses. Master Quest is a never-before see nor heard multimedia concert experience that celebrates the beloved 29-year-old The Legend of Zelda franchise. It’s not to be missed!

The Legend of Zelda franchise has had some of the best music to ever be featured in a video game, in fact, it’s been an important aspect of the series. The Gerudo Valley theme from Ocarina of Time, The Song of Healing from Majora’s Mask, and The Hidden Village theme from Twilight Princess are just a few of my favorites from the series. Interested in hearing some of your favorites live? Then this is one show you don’t want to miss.

Symphony of the Goddesses previously made an appearance as the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert back in October.

I suggest watching the entire video but at the 2:30 mark, I felt like I had gone back in time for a moment.
