A lot of famous faces are heading to a galaxy far, far away!
Jon Favreau’s ‘The Mandalorian’ has officially announced that Werner Herzog, Emily Swallow, Giancarlo Esposito, and Omid Abtahi are joining series lead Pedro Pascal.
Also named in the announcement were Nick Nolte, Gina Carano, and Carl Weathers. Nolte and Carano’s involment was already leaked by The Hollywood Reporter. Weather’s role in the show was also first reported by Making Star Wars. Check out what Favreau had to say about the casting news below.

Dave Filoni, Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Rick Famuyiwa are all directing episodes of the show as well.
Set in the far reaches of the galaxy, ‘The Mandalorian’ follows a lone gunmen five years after the fall of the Empire. It will debut exclusively on Disney+ sometime next year.
