Dick Grayson’s Robin was never my favorite character. He was cheesy and one-dimensional in a scenario that begged for more. Conversely, Nightwing questions all he’s ever known and attempts to find who he is behind the mask. Trying to move on from his Boy Wonder days is proving difficult. Coming to Bludhaven should have been a fresh start. Can it ever be for Nightwing? His past comes back to haunt him while on the hunt for a killer.

I really liked this issue and will be going back to catch up on the story. Marcus To’s art is amazing and allows the story to flow from one scene to the next.Tim Seeley’s writing has granted even the run-offs complexity and depth as they try to move on from their not-so-legal pasts. One thing that completely through me off was the marketing meeting in the middle of the story. It messed with the flow and seemed pointless. I’m wondering how this will play into the rest of the arc.

Overall, I will be keeping an eye on this series. I can’t wait to see where it takes me!
