Punisher season two is coming and while we don’t know specifically when it’ll begin filming, we do know where it will.
We’ve learned that the plan at the moment is to keep the production in New York City and it will recycle the production title of Crime. It seems that Marvel Television is indeed keeping the show in the state but there was some question if they were going to move it elsewhere.

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
While it’s not terribly shocking that we’ll see the second season of The Punisher return to New York, it seemed a little up-in-the-air. Considering Frank has spent time elsewhere in the states setting up shop in California in recent comics and the Thomas Jane film was set in Florida, there was a bit of opening for the show to move to another state as we did see Frank move around in the first series.
Also, there is an expectation that Punisher could begin filming sometime later in the year, but we currently don’t have concrete production dates. However, when we get new information we’ll certainly update.
The Punisher’s creator/showrunner Steven Lightfoot has teased a desire to include characters like O’Brien and villain Barracuda for the second season.
Netflix and Marvel have yet to set a release date for the show.
