Late last year it was announced (via Entertainment Weekly) that TNT had ordered to pilot a television series based on the cult classic film Snowpericer which in turn was based off a graphic novel. It starred Ed Harris, Chris Evans, Octavia Spencer, and Tilda Swinton
“The series is set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, and “the remnants of humanity inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe where issues of class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival are questioned.”
Now thanks to the guys over at My Entertainment World we now learn the pilot is expected to begin filming sometime in Mid-March:
Josh Friedman will showrun the project along with director Bong Joon-Ho serving as a producer.
