Chris Hemsworth is already prepping his post-Avengers schedule, as he will play wrestler Hulk Hogan in a biopic for Netflix.
Todd Phillips (‘The Hangover,’ ‘Joker’) will direct. Meanwhile the screenplay will be from Phillips’ recent ‘Joker’ collaborator Scott Silver (‘8 Mile’) and John Pollono (‘Stronger’).
Hogan is one of the most famous wrestlers of the 1980s, and was able to create his own brand in the United States.
However, The Hollywood Reporter said that the biopic will focus on Hogan’s rise and will be an origin story of the Hulkster and Hulkamania.
Moreover, Hemsworth will next be seen two upcoming movies this year. He is in both ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ releasing April 26, as well as ‘Men in Black: International,’ releasing June 14.
