Tom Cruise Promises ‘Mission: Impossible 6’ Will Have Big Stunts and Shoots This Fall

Tom Cruise during the Paramount Pictures presentation at CinemaCon 2016 in Las Vegas which is currently underway introduced footage for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. It was a taped message as he’s currently in London filming The Mummy for Universal.

He gave a brief update on the untitled Mission: Impossible 6. Cruise revealing that the sixth installment to feature even more “big stunts” and will begin shooting this fall with director Christopher McQuarrie back with an excellent script he also wrote.

Rebecca Ferguson and Simon Pegg are expected to return for the sequel.

Jeremy Renner might have to exit due to commitments for Avengers: Infinity War as production is expected to happen around the same time.

A release date hasn’t been locked down by the studio but it’s expected to land either in summer or winter 2017.
