Mr. Miracle writer Tom King and Selma director Ava Duvernay are teaming to write the script for DC’s ‘New Gods’ movie, based on the Jack Kirby-created Fourth World. Duvernay will direct the pic as well. The GWW has also learned that the studio aims to get cameras rolling sometime next year.
Tom King is most known for his Vision miniseries at Marvel, as well as his Batman run and Mr. Miracle miniseries.
Ava Duvernay is the director of ‘Selma’, ‘A Wrinkle In Time’, and the upcoming Netflix miniseries ‘When They See Us’.
