What was your first Cosplay experience?
Vij: Kaito from Duke of Madness Venomania.
Prince Ari: Ayanami Rei from Evangelion.
Luno_o: Itachi Uchiha from Naruto.
Vatari: Nunnally Lamperouge from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.
ISEEY0U: Frank Stain from Soul Eater.
How long have you been Cosplaying?
Vij: Since 2012.
Prince Ari: Since 2011.
Luno_o: Since 2012.
Vatari: Since 2011.
ISEEY0U: For 4 years.
Who or what inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
Vij: Cosplay festivals and Stay, a famous cosplayer. I also like the works of Kenn, LALAax and Congtian.
Prince Ari: My school friends and other cosplayers’ works.
Luno_o: ISEEY0U and other cosplayers’ works.
Vatari: Cosplay inspired me, my friend Anna (Prince Ari). Together we started to watch anime and together began to sew costumes of different characters from different anime.
ISEEY0U: I found out about it myself.
If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn, or have seen someone else wear, what would it be?
Vij: It is too hard to choose. 🙁
Prince Ari: From my cosplays I like Gwendolyn the most, and I was impressed seeing Narga’s WoW cosplay.
Luno_o: From my cosplays I like Sesshoumaru the most, I think. There are so many cool cosplayers in the world that I can’t choose only a few of them. But I like WoW cosplays!
Vatari: I have no favorite works, in every character I put strength and soul, but maybe I’ll highlight Yukari from Paradise Kiss, this is my most time-consuming work, and the dress is very beautiful, that I dreamed of for years. I can not distinguish among alien cosplay someone special, but I like my team, we try very hard!
ISEEY0U: I like our Odin Sphere project.
If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
Vij: A full suit of Toothless from the movie How To Train Your Dragon.
Prince Ari: A real Valkyrie suit from Macross Frontier.
Luno_o: Gurren Lagann in original size!
Vatari: If my resources were unlimited, I would be happy to make armor for the game LineAge II.
ISEEY0U: Evangelion Unit-01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion in original size.
What advice would you offer to those who are aspiring Cosplayers?
Vij: Be creative!
Prince Ari: Be brave and don’t think what others will say. Do what you like.
Luno_o: The main thing you can get from cosplay – is friends, remember it.
Vatari: Tips for beginners – if you are not ready to spend energy, time, money and health, it is better not to begin to engage in cosplay. And if you still dare, you reach the tops, to hone their skills.
ISEEY0U: Try to make your costumes look like the original picture.
