After weeks of teasing, we now have the first official trailer for Netflix’s ‘Locke & Key’ series. The show is an adaptation of the comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.

Moreover, the premise of the coming-of-age mystery series:
“After the mysterious murder of their father, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse. They then discover the house is full of magical keys that may have a connection to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.”
The cast comprises of Darby Stanchfield, Jackson Robert Scott, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Bill Heck, Laysla De Oliveira, Sherri Saum, Thomas Mitchell Barnet, Griffin Gluck, and Coby Bird.
Further, the first episode is written by ‘NOS4A2’ and ‘In the Tall Grass’ author Joe Hill and ‘Daybreak’ creator/writer Aron Eli Coleite. Carlton Cuse (‘Bates Motel,’ ‘Jack Ryan’) and Meredith Averill (‘The Good Wife,’ ‘The Haunting of Hill House’) serve as co-showrunners.
However, the director of this Netflix pilot is still unclear. In previous versions of the series, directors Scott Derrickson (‘Sinister’) and Andy Muschietti (‘It’) helmed the pilot.
Netflix will release all ten episodes of ‘Locke & Key’ on February 7th.
