A brand new trailer for DC’s upcoming superhero film Wonder Woman has been released online.
Previous trailers have shown us Diana (played by Gal Gadot) as an adult, taking to battle in the film’s World War I setting.
The new one however takes us back to when she was a girl on Themyscira, focusing on her challenges as she rises to becoming the legendary Amazonian warrior Wonder Woman.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot as Diana Prince alongside Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.
Wonder Woman is the next film set in Warner Bros. DC Extended Universe hits screens June 2nd, 2017.
