The Transformers franchise has a knack for getting in some serious Hollywood talent, and the fifth film in the series will continue that trend as it was announced that Silence of the Lambs star Sir Anthony Hopkins had joined the cast.

The announcement was made over the official Transformers Twitter account, but no other details on Hopkins role were provided. To be fair though, there is only two options the Oscar-winning actor has, he’s either a human, or he’s voicing a new Autobot or Decepticon.
Hopkins joins Mark Whalberg who is reprising his role as Cade Yeager from Transformers: Age of Extinction. Josh Duhamel also returns to the fold as Colonel William Lennox after sitting out the previous installment. It is still unknown whether Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor are returning for the sequel.
Transformers: The Last Knight is set to hit screens June 23, 2017.
