It was recently announced that Tom Hooper’s Cats musical for Universal Pictures would be starring Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Sir Ian McKellen, and James Corden. With filming poised to begin this November.
Well, we have some more production information to share about the musical as it will begin filming on November 12th at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, UK with a wrap date set for February 1st of next year.
Omega Underground previously revealed Tom Hooper will yet again reunite with Les Miserables cinematographer Danny Cohen (Room) and production designer Eve Stewart (The Girl In The Spider’s Web), they also worked with Hooper on The Danish Girl and The King’s Speech.
Universal has yet to set a release date but there has been talk it could be in theatres next fall.
