Several days ago Deadline reported that John Francis Daley & Jonathan M. Goldstein has been hired by Marvel to pen their upcoming Spider-Man reboot. They were originally in the running to direct the upcoming Marvel film but that gig went to Jon Watts. The duo also were behind this years upcoming Vacation reboot starring Ed Helms. This film will focus on a young Peter Parker and his time back in High School played by Tom Holland. It’s unknown if Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane Watson will be in this film but each had their time with Parker is the past two Spider-Man franchises.
