Vin Diesel’s ‘Bloodshot’ Begins Filming August 6th In Europe and South Africa

Jul 6, 2018

While director Dave Wilson preps his feature film debut with Sony’s Bloodshot starring Vin Diesel we have a production update to share.

Filming on Bloodshot is now expected to begin on August 6th.

We previously revealed that Cape Town, South Africa is all but confirmed and scenes will likely be shot at Cape Town Film Studios. The same stage location where George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road and Alex Garland’s Dredd shot.

Europe is also being eyed for the production as both Prague and Budapest have been mentioned as filming locales. Locations used by Sony for Blade Runner and expected for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The film’s crew consists of production designer Tom Brown, former Crow reboot art director Simon Lamont, and John Wick: Chapter 2 stunt coordinator J.J. Perry.

Bloodshot’s cast also includes Toby Kebbell, Eiza Gonzalez, and Sam Heughan.

Sony has yet to give the film an official release date.
