This might not be the Kyptonian news you were expecting, but Deadline reports that Warner Bros. is now developing a new Supergirl movie from screenwriter Oren Uziel.
Oren is best known for writing films like the Cloverfield Paradox and 22 Jump Street.
Details are scarce but it does sound like another big DC movie announcement for the sake of the announcement. Hopefully, this actually comes together as it looks like Henry Cavill might not be returning for Man of Steel 2, despite rumblings of a potential director search.
