Warner Bros. is getting ready to up their DC productions with Shazam, Suicide Squad 2, and Wonder Woman 2 expected to begin shooting next year.
However, the Flash film aka Flashpoint still is without an official director but this hasn’t stopped the studio from hiring few key crew roles.
We’ve learned that production designer Beth Mickle has been hired for the film. Mickle is best known for her work on Nicholas Winding Refn films Drive and Only God Forgives. Her other credits includes The Duce, 2 Guns, Half Nelson, Focus, and Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut Lost River.
This means at least the look of the production will be pleasing to the eye.
Then again, depending on when/who they hire to direct it’s impossible to say if she’ll be still around.
Flashpoint is expected to be released in 2020.
