Wes Anderson’s ‘Isle of Dogs’ set to close SXSW Film Festival

Interested in seeing Wes Anderson’s highly anticipated stop-motion film, Isle of Dogs? Well if you are attending SXSW this year, you’re in luck as it’s been announced that the film will be the closing the Film Festival next month. The film accompanies the previously announced opener, A Quiet Place, starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.

The film features a star studded cast including Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, Greta Gerwig, Scarlett Johnasson, and Edward Norton. The film follows a twelve year old boy named Atari Kobayashi as he travels to an island of exiled dogs in search of his dog, Spot.

 

SXSW’s film festival will run March 9th through the 18th. Badges and Wristbands are still available and can be purchased on the official SXSW website.
ISLE OF DOGS opens in theaters March 23, 2018.
