What was your first Cosplay Experience?
Mizuumi-Com 2012. My friend and I did a closest Cosplay of Chi and Freya from Chobits, I was Freya.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
For three years now! But it sure feels like longer!

Who or What inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
Well, like most Cosplayers, it started with a love for a fandom. Be it anime, comics, video games or even books! I had a huge appreciation for Japanese culture and quickly found out about anime and loved it! Soon after, I saw some Cosplayers on the Internet and wanted to do the same thing!

If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn or have seen someone else wear, what would it be?
I think my personal favorite Cosplay that I’ve done would have to be School uniform Panty from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. I’ve never actually worn it to a con, but I hope I’ll get to with my Stocking!

As for another person’s costume… I really love all the gorgeous Harley Quinn Cosplays out there! But I think Mango Sirene’s New Batgirl suit is my favorite. I can tell there was just so much hard work put into it, and it really showed!

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
I would do a series of Harley Quinn Cosplays for sure! I absolutely adore her as a character, and all her outfits are so fun, and it would be wondrously challenging!

What advice would you offer others who are aspiring Cosplayers?
Don’t let anyone hold you back! You can do it! You don’t have to be able to sew, or make your own costumes to be a Cosplayer. All you need is the passion! It’s important to do what you love, and if that’s Cosplay—go for it!
