Will Smith’s ‘Gemini Man’ Starts Production This February; ‘Suicide Squad 2’ Pushed To Late 2018?

Sep 1, 2017

Today, we at Omega Underground have discovered a new production listing for Ang Lee and Will Smith’s upcoming feature film Gemini Man. The film which has been in-development since 1997 features Will Smith facing off against a younger assassin in his prime. However, production is expected to begin February 26th, 2018 until July 21st, 2018:

The film will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Skydance Media. With several writers brought on board in the past several years to pen a draft including Brian Helgeland, Andrew Niccol and David Benioff.

This recent production listing also confirms last week report that Suicide Squad 2 won’t start production until late 2018 at the earliest. Due to Will Smith’s hectic schedule of Gemini Man as well as voicing The Genie in Guy Richie’s Aladdin.

Gemini Man hits theaters October 4th, 2019
