W0RLDTR33 brought to life by the creative mind of James Tynion IV and publisher Image Comics has been nothing short of a wild ride, to say the least. The previous two installments were used to build the world and the characters while leaving us with more than a couple of unanswered questions. With W0RLDTR33 #4, we are in for a gripping ride as we receive a lot of new information coupled with mind-blowing artwork. So fasten your seatbelts and hold on to your hats.

REVIEW:
W0RLDTR33 #4 ramps up the action and thrills. With the “good guys” seemingly on the losing side. With the possibility to lose not one but possibly two main characters in a single issue. Yet, that’s not all, they are also racing against time to save Fausta who in a previous issue delved into the depths of the undernet. As we delve into the undernet alongside Tynion, Blanco, and Bellaire, we bear witness to the haunting experiences endured by these unfortunate souls. The portrayal is chilling, dark, and deeply unsettling. The creative trio deserves immense praise for their ability to depict a fractured mind while simultaneously exploring a way to heal it.
You could argue that Blanco and Bellaire did the impossible with this issue. The sequence and the imagery that follows Fausta’s journey into the underbelly of the internet is (and I cannot stress this enough) monstrous. The framing, pacing and storytelling, will leave you with sweaty palms and a pounding heart. A word to the wise something once seen can not be unseen.
Final Thought:
W0RLDTR33 #4 delivers a revelation at the end that teases a much bigger story. While there are some lingering questions from previous issues still awaiting answers. The glimpse into the undernet is what we all wanted to see. The series boasts exceptional character depth, captivating world-building, authentic and natural dialogue, and impeccable pacing, all complemented by profoundly unsettling imagery. Even if you’re not drawn to this genre, W0RLDTR33 stands out as a must-read comic.
