It’s not Captain Marvel, but Yvonne Strahovski has landed a role in a beloved franchise.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that she’s landed a supporting role in Shane Black’s The Predator. Yvonne will play the mother of Jacob Tremblay’s character and the ex-wife of Boyd Holbrook’s Quinn McKenna.
Strahovski will play the mother to Tremblay, a troubled boy who is accidentally drawn into the conflict with the fierce alien creatures by her ex-husband, played by Holbrook.
She also joins fellow cast members Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Thomas Jane, and Alfie Allen.
The Predator is currently shooting in Vancouver until May with its release date set for February 9th, 2018.
