Zoom has partnered with generative AI start-up Anthropic, investing funds to incorporate the firm’s Claude model into its services. The partnership will allow Zoom to embed Claude, its generative AI assistant, across all of its products beginning with the Zoom Contact Center. The AI integration will provide customer service and guidance for human agents while Anthropic’s model allows for ‘safe and responsible integrations.’ Zoom plans to maintain its federated approach to AI, as it rolls out the features from a variety of sources for its Zoom IQ digital assistant.
