Crossover #10

Crossover #10 feels sort of like a filler episode — you know they have a big reveal in an episode, then instead of revealing what happens in the next episode, they make you wait. The story gets diverted. But there is still a big reveal at the end to make sure that you tune in next week. If that makes sense then welcome to the latest issue of Crossover.

Crossover #10

I don’t know what to actually say about this issue. Was it informative? Yes. Was it Entertaining? Yes. Did it make a previous character more relatable? Yes. Whoo-hoo I’m stuck. I want to give you a breakdown of the issue without spoiling it, but in giving you said breakdown I am going to spoil it. Okay, so let’s do this. As mentioned above, this has the feel of a filler. We get to know a little more about Pendelton well a lot more. Walker and Pilgrim interrogate their creator (Bendis)  or should I say, creators (Bendis and Oeming). Deena is giving them a hard time and Walker is just being Walker. However, Bendis and Oeming gave them their best lead yet, as to whom is actually in control of this crazed world. We finally get the reveal of the writer that Pendelton has locked up. And boy is it a big one.

The art and style.

As Crossover is about, well, crossovers, it should come as no surprise that in the middle of the latest issue there is a sort of a crossover happening. In the writing and the art. Yes, you read that correctly for a couple of pages the dynamic duo of Bendis and Oeming takes over. To give it a more authentic look and feel. For some reason it made me think of Batman: The Brave and The Bold Animation.

Final Thought.

As we continue the journey through the ever-interesting world of Crossover, and after the latest reveal. I can’t help to wonder what is next, will it change direction again? From murder mystery to some psychological trippy experience, that ends up in a horror showdown? This might sound a bit out of the left-field, but the possibilities with Crossover are endless.
