Today, Deadline announced that Amazon is developing a live-action TV series based on the Conan the Barbarian book series. The last time Conan graced the screen was in the 2011 remake starring Jason Momoa. Before that 80’s action star Arnold Schwarzenegger played the barbaric king.
The report goes onto confirm that Colony co-creator Ryan Condal and Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik will be developing the project. The streaming service is starting to create fantastic original shows like The Tick and Man in the High Castle. As well as developing a Lord of the Rings TV project slated for 2020.
