The moment we have all been waiting for is here, Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne are ready to join their lives in marriage, and we are all invited to the wedding of the century. Church bells are ringing as Gotham prepares for the event that will change the lives of these two beloved characters. Will our Cape Crusader live a happily ever after with his beloved or could this be the beginning of something else? All your questions will be answered this week as you attend Gotham’s finest wedding. This is it. No more preparation. The bride and groom are ready. But are we ready for this wedding? In this week’s issue of Batman, we get to go inside the mind of Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne as they get ready to make a commitment that will change their lives forever. For a Batman comic, this issue takes a step back from the action and we dive in the minds of these characters as they get ready for the big day. The 50th issue is basically divided into two sections, Catwoman’s point of view and Batman’s point of view. This makes for a very entertaining and heartfelt story. It is very weird to read a Batman that is in love, but it makes for a good change. One of the challenges that I had to face as I review this issue was, “how can I review this comic without spoiling the end?, how can I talk about how awesome this issue is without giving away any clues of what makes this week’s issue amazing?”I ask that you do yourself a favor and that you treat this comic like you treated Avengers: Infinity War. It deserves the same respect that Avengers did. So don’t spoil yourself of anything. Trust me its worth it. In regards to the story, there really isn’t anything else that I can say other than this is a love story with its twists and turns and its written so beautifully you just have to read it yourself.

The art for this issue is right on par with its story, it’s simply beautiful. There is one panel in particular that I love so, so much, that I ended up making it my phone wallpaper. In this issue, you will fall in love from Catwoman’s wedding dress to the pages where Bruce and Selina are sharing intimate moments. Everything about the art is superb. Batman’s wedding is a special occasion and the artists knew exactly what had to be done to capture such an iconic moment in this DC comic.

Batman and Catwoman are cordially inviting you to their wedding. Save the date, tell a friend about it, do whatever it is you have to do, But yourself a favor and don’t miss this. Don’t be the person that has to be told what happened because he/she was not there, instead be the person that is telling everyone what happened, but please no spoilers this story deserves that!
